Our fourth and final stop in Texas will be the the capitol of Texas, home of A&M’s sworn rival, great music and the best wings at Plucker’s. Come out to downtown Austin, and run around the capitol looking for clues and adventure!

To top it off, we’ll be giving away prizes to the team who brings the MOST non-perishable items to the event for the Capital Area Food Bank!

Charity Spotlight: Capital Area Food Bank

While the need for food assistance is always on the rise the Capital Area Food Bank in Austin does a tremendous job in helping many community members to be able to live a stable life. It is the second food bank that was opened up in Texas after San Antonio, and shortly after Dallas had a food bank open up as well.

The Capital Area Food Bank has been around for 31 years and is now part of more than 300 different Partner Agencies in 21 different counties around the area. Weekly they provide food for 48,000 individuals who are in need of food assistance in order to get through the day. Last year alone the Capital Area Food Bank has provided more than 24 million pounds of food.
